Infusion Therapy Workshop

This interactive workshop is designed to challenge current infusion therapy practices used in the clinical setting to updated evidenced based practice. The opportunity will be provided to review standards of infusion therapy practice that is based in research against what is seen in the clinical setting.

PIVC Ultrasound Workshop

This 4hr workshop will be delivered by local and international vascular access specialists with an emphasis on the acquisition of practical skills in difficult vascular access and PIVC insertion for use in the clinical environment. Specific focus will be on inserting PIVC in the DIVA patient for optimal dwell time and functionality. Designed in conjunction with clinicians, this course is specifically aimed at candidates that have little or no prior ultrasound experience Hands on time is the focus with a 1:2/2:3 ratio of time dedicated to theory/practical
